The life cycle of a 7-inch Samsung tablet announced in early September last year is coming to an end. However, they will not stop producing these gadgets there will be a second generation of Samsung tablets. It is unknown when exactly it happens but we would like to share some preliminary information about the product.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 will get dual-core processor Exynos with 1.2 GHz and IPS-display. It is assumed that the second generation 7-inch tablet will be called the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7. Its equipment will include dual-core processor - Samsung Exynos 1.2 GHz (perhaps it is a single-chip platform, the same one used in the Galaxy S II smartphone), 1 GB RAM, 2 GB ROM, 16 GB of integrated flash memory. IPS display will have resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. Like its older brother Galaxy Tab 7 will be equipped with two cameras, as well as Wi-Fi adapter and 3G connectivity. It will also be powered by Android 2.3.4 OS. Galaxy Tab 7 will go on sale in October or November this year. There is no information on price yet.
