The LG Optimus 3D's availability saga is about to come to an end, at least in the UK. The oft-delayed 3D-capable Android-powered smartphone is on its way to general availability in the UK on July 7. However, if you're itching to get one and can't wait that long, there is another option. It turns out that select Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy stores will have Optimus 3D handsets in stock starting on July 1, so almost a week earlier. There are caveats, however. First of all, these devices will only be available in some actual physical stores. So no ordering online and getting the Optimus 3D prior to July 7.
