RIM has hired the creators of HTC Sense?

According to unconfirmed information, the company Research in Motion plans to enter into an agreement with YOU i, which is known for creating the user interface for the Sense of HTC. As the resource GigaOM, a Canadian smartphone manufacturer was interested in buying this design studio, but eventually an agreement was reached on "meaningful partnership." It is known that the company YOU I worked closely with another company - Teknision, which in turn is also based in Taiwan and is developing a user interface for a tablet BlackBerry PlayBook.

Apparently, these steps are a company RIM has taken in connection with the desire to reach a wider audience of users of devices manufactured under the brand name BlackBerry. One of the drawbacks is obsolescent interface, which the company derives from the non-touch devices. Previously, it was announced that RIM has acquired another design studio - Astonishing Tribe, which developed the user interface for the first Android-smartphone T-Mobile G1. Recently, the company has significantly reduced its presence in the market, which declined from 19.7% to 12.9% estimated at Gartner Research. While sales in absolute numbers continue to grow.
