Is Microsoft trying to follow Apple's footsteps. All these while Microsoft doesn't have much actual products (real devices) under their own brand, except for a few mice and keyboards, and oh there's a console too. However, unnamed sources are claiming that Microsoft - in cooperation with Texas Instruments and Taiwan-based OEMs and ODMs - is considering a self-branded tablet featuring Windows 8. Microsoft reportedly hasn't denied the claims, only saying that the company doesn't have any information to share at this time.
The news follows TI's announcement last week of a new 1.8 GHz multi-core chip with 3D support, the OMAP4470.
