It looks like Vodafone has rebranded its Isle of Wight festival app, changed the graphics a little, put on some new silly band names and launched it on the Android Market as the official Download Festival 2011 Android app. The Download app looks the same as the IoW version, offering a similar collection of maps, schedules, geo-tagging features, artist profiles and more. Just don't drop your telephone down the portaloo while updating Facebook about how much fun you are having.
There's a joke in this rush by mobile networks to affiliate themselves with youth events.
