Sprint was not the only carrier to announce its plans to increase its phone roster. US Cellular has just annouced that it will release eight smartphones by the end of 2011 along with two tablets. Seven of the smartphones will run on Android 2.3. One of the devices will be US Cellular's first LTE device which is due in November. The first four phones will be released by HTC, with the first phone being released this summer and running on Windows 7. Two more HTC Android devices will follow in the fall along with a 7-inch tablet, which will most likely be the HTC Flyer.
