SpellDial is a technology that allows you to dial names instead of numbers. This is applicable only for those who have setup a spelldial account. Once you have checked the availability of your username you can register it to point to a specific number. So instead of dialing a number, you dial their username.
For example, if Jonina's username is joninahottie and it points to (1234)567-8900 , simply spell out her username (joninahottie) and it will immediately connect you to her. So anyone who dials joninahottie will be dialing (1234)567-8900 .
The great thing about SpellDial is if you have a change of number, all you have to do is change the number your username points to. This saves you from all the hassle of contacting your friends and telling them you have a new number.
What if there are people with the same names?
SpellDial names work like email addresses or usernames. Once a SpellDial name is taken, you will have to register another name. But SpellDial names are country based, which means that if you register the name "albert" in the United States, another person in another country can register that name in their country.
How to confirm my account? What's a confirmation email?
After you register, a confirmation email will be sent to your email address. You will have to click the link that is sent to your email to confirm your registration. Once you confirmed it, then your SpellDial name is ready to use and you can now access your SpellDial account using your email address and your SpellDial password.
How do I get the SpellDial App on my phone?
For iPhone users it is simple. Just go to www.spelldial.com/app using your phone's internet browser then click the plus or add button to add the web app to your phone's home screen. Other phones also have the capability to add web apps to the home screen. For those phones that does not have that feature, you will have to manually go to your web browser and type www.spelldial.com/app in order to dial names.
I know someone's SpellDial Name, how do I contact them?
Go to SpellDial's web app at www.spelldial.com/app and then dial the SpellDial name.
I don't know anyone's SpellDial name, what should I do?
Well, you will have to ask your friends what their SpellDial name is or if they don't have one yet, tell your friends to register and get their SpellDial name so that you can contact each other simply and easily.
Does it work in all phones?
To be called, any phone will do, but in order to dial a SpellDial name, you will need to use a phone that can connect to the internet since SpellDial is a web app.
What are the phones that can SpellDial?

Does SpellDial charge for phone calls and sms messages?
Phone Calls and SMS Messages initiated from SpellDial are passed on to your own phone's service provider. SpellDial doesn't charge you for that, but since phone calls and sms messages go through your own carrier / service provider, their network charges might apply.
I don't have a smartphone yet, can I have a SpellDial Name?
Definitely yes! Even though you don't have a smartphone, you can still be called thru your SpellDial Name. But in order to dial a SpellDial Name, you would need a phone that can access the internet.
Do I need internet connection to receive calls through my SpellDial Name?
No, you do not need to have internet connection to receive calls.
