Sony has officially given the name of its new portable gaming console - PlayStation Vita

The Japanese company Sony has officially announced that the official name of its portable game console, the new generation will be PlayStation Vita (PS Vita) (PCH-1000 series), formerly codenamed NGP. Wi-Fi model will be available at a price of 24.980 yen (including tax) in Japan, $ 249 in the U.S. and € 249 in Europe. 3G/Wi-Fi will be available at a price of 29.980 yen (including tax) in Japan, $ 299 in the U.S. and € 299 in Europe. Global launch of sales planned for the end of this year.
