Review: NZXT Source 210 gaming chassis

 NZXT Source 210 gaming chassis

Gamers who are more serious than usual about their gaming experience would definitely get the best that their money can buy, ranging from the processor to the video graphics card, all the way to the chassis, keyboard, mouse, and headphones. While there are many players in the peripherals market, when it comes to computer chassis, it is quite safe to say that choices can be limited to a certain extent.

NZXT is no stranger to building quality chassis for their devices, and their latest model to hit the market would be the NZXT Source 210 gaming chassis. The Source 210 is meant for folks who are just starting out in the serious world of gaming, and yet are budget conscious without having you to take a second mortgage on your home. In order to keep up with the times and to make sure you are not the laughing stock of the neighborhood, the NZXT Source 210 will feature a modern look and feel with a textured aluminum panel in both black and white colors – not to mention a range of features which will help maximize airflow with up to seven 120mm fans.

As for the bottom mounted PSU (power supply unit), it will enhance ventilation while the dual 120 mm front intake makes sure the front facing hard drive bays remain cool and efficient at all times. Apart from that, the Source 210 will also deliver 20mm of space for wiring purposes, letting builders achieve a clean look on both the inside and out. NZXT will also be rolling out a more advanced Source 210 Elite which will feature USB 3.0, tool-less design, and a 140mm top fan.

Johnny Hou, Founder and Chief Designer, has this to say, “At NZXT, we truly feel that gaming is the best form of entertainment money can buy. But it can get expensive when you add up the cost of the games, components, trips to LAN parties, and more. We feel your pain, and that’s why we’re now offering Source 210, a modest case that includes all of the essentials for performance for the cost of less than one game.”

The Source 210 will retail for $39.99 (€39.99) while the Source 210 Elite is going for $49.99 (€49.99).
