Asus Eee Pad Memo 3D

Asus has just announced their new 7 inch tablet at Computex 2011, called Asus Eee Pad Memo 3D. The Eee Pad Memo 3D tablet has similar size to the HTC Flyer but offers a few extra features. The Asus Memo 3D tablet is the next generations of Asus Eee Pad MeMo that first unveiled at CES in January.

Asus Eee Pad Memo 3D Features

Asus Eee Pad Memo 3D designed to be used in portrait mode, particularly for note taking, memo style. Like the HTC Flyer, the device can be used either with the finger or a special capacitive stylus with support a capacitive stylus that stows away in the silver tube that graces the front of the device. The Eee Pad Memo 3D tablet would be shipping with the MeMIC Bluetooth headset that will be able to be used as a remote control for the tablet to making mobile calls and listening to music and a glasses free 3D IPS display.

The Eee Pad Memo 3D will be runs on Android 3.0 Honeycomb for operating system and also equipped with a Qualcomm 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of storage with a microSD card slot for expansion, micro USB, 3.5mm headphone port, micro HDMI port for connect to external monitor. ASUS Eee Pad MeMO 3D tablet also offers a 7.1-inch dispaly with 1024×600 pixel, a 1.2-megapixel camera front facing camera for video calls and a 5-megapixel auto-focus camera with LED flash for shooting video and taking photos.

“The ASUS Eee Pad MeMO 3D is designed to be an alternative take on the 10in tablet that is fast becoming a standard size,” a statement from Asus said. Unfortunately pricing has not been revealed, but we are expecting to see the Eee Pad Memo 3D 7 inch Android tablet will be hit stores sometime in Q4 this year.
