Acer W4 Windows Phone 7 Mango

Microsoft has announced the partnership with Acer to make a Windows Phone Mango and now at Computex Acer has shown off a prototype of its first Windows Phone 7, called Acer W4. The Acer W4 smartphone is based on Windows Phone 7 Mango and powered by a Qualcomm MSM8255 chip at 1GHz.

Acer W4 Windows Phone 7 is the first Acer Windows Phone 7 with candybar design and a 3.6 inch display with support multi touch, light sensor, proximity sensor and 480 x 800 resolution. As the Mango Smartphone, the W4 also comes with features Xbox / Games hub, IE9 Mobile, People Hub with integration Twitter, LinkedIn, Viadeo, Bing support (maps, search, local scout, vision, audio), Office Hub, Picture Hub, Market Place and Other OS changes.

Acer W4 will be packs with a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, Digital zoom and video recording, 8GB for internal storage, microUSB 2.0, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and DLNA support for home media sharing. The Acer W4 Windows 7 Phone  Mango also support on 850/1900MHz for North America, and 900/2100MHz for other markets. Acer W4 smartphone expected will be come out later this year with an affordable price tag.
