MTS introduces a system for monitoring the quality of communication

The mobile operator MTS has announced the launch of a project to implement a unified system of monitoring and quality control services for MTS Group, the investment in the project will amount to more than 600 million rubles.

As stated by the operator, the project was initiated as part of the company's technology strategy, aimed at harmonizing business processes MTS Group and the provision of telecommunications services of high quality. The main purpose of introducing the new solution is to monitor and control the quality of services provided to subscribers. In the future, the installation of this system will allow MTS to implement the provision of mobile and data communications with guaranteed quality, regardless of the complexity of network infrastructure and the possibility of signing the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with corporate clients.

The implementation of the project involves the construction of hardware and software to monitor and control the quality of services through the introduction of support systems for operation of the new generation (NG OSS - New Generation Operations Systems and Software) - directory of products and technology services to Service Inventory, processing subsystem messages from systems management equipment, subsystems and control quality of service (NGSA - Next-Generation Service Accurance), sub-systems management service level agreements SLA Management. Strategic partner for the project was selected Comarch.

At the first stage of implementation of full functionality and quality management services will be implemented in Moscow and the end of 2013 the system will be installed in all the regions of MTS Group in Russia. Thanks to this project, the company claims, no one incident that affects the quality of service, remain undetected, callers can be proactively informed about the declining quality of communication specialists MTS will be able to predict changes in the quality of service, as well as oversee the work of troubleshooting.
