HTC sets sights on being the number 3 smartphone provider within two years.

HTC is certainly not bashful about their quarterly or yearly sales predictions.  2010 was the company's best year to date, but HTC has declared that they expect to double their sales figures in 2011.  Currently, HTC is ranked fifth on the list of the world's larges smartphone makers with 9.3% market share, but HTC is looking to step things up within the next two year with plans to capture the number three spot.Â. “We aim to be the top 3 handset provider in every country within two years,” – Jack Tong, president, HTC North Asia.
