Beeline began the final stage of installing 3G equipment in Moscow

Operator VimpelCom (brand name "Beeline") has begun the final stage of installing 3G equipment in Moscow. In particular, in the south of Moscow have begun work on upgrading the network of "Beeline". The works aim to install a more modern hardware and network deployment 3G. The upgrade involves the temporary shutdown of base stations and their parametric debugging, in this regard in the south of the capital may decrease short-term quality of service. In central and northern parts of the 2G/3G network in Moscow are already in operation with new equipment to upgrade the network mid-July to end the South west of the capital before the end of the summer work will be conducted in the Southeast. The result of the project will improve services for 2G and 3G network coverage throughout the territory of Moscow on 1 September 2011.
