ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X-BK 10.1 inch black Netbook Review

Ah, the granddaddy of netbooks, Eee PC. ASUS has been the pioneer of this small form factor notebook. Fortunately, the first 7-inch screens had some improvements since then. This most recent 10-inch size, gives a little more to those who do not have teeny-weeny hands and do not want to wear a pair of binoculars to see the tiny text on the screen.

Apart the terrible unpronounceable name, almost, this computer provides a wide range of features, in a packaging which is small enough to slip around long anywhere and with a battery life enough to last for a whole day.

Here are some of the key features:

Intel Atom CPU1GB memory160GB drive10 hard inch screen 1024 x 768 resolutionBuilt-in webcam and microphoneLAN, lb Wifi and Bluetooth2.81

The style is good. If no childish expects this mini-performer. The screen provides enough size for a view of the Web page, although sometimes requiring from left to right scrolling. For desktop use, I recommend an additional monitor, because it is easier to consult. The VGA port will connect to almost any monitor, but some monitors are no longer have VGA ports, so check first.

1 GB of memory is just.

160 GB hard drive is very good, but I would prefer instead a small disk solid state. There is an extra 10 GB of online storage offered, but that sounds fanciful, I'd rather, they provided a subscription to one of the big online storage firms. I just don't know how much to trust their internal offer as Asus are a hardware company.

Networking is an essential element for netbooks which, by their name, are designed to be online. Fast Ethernet is the staple food of the Office, and Wi - Fi 802 Networks. .11n ready allows speeds faster wireless networks that support it. Bluetooth is also included and will connect to the Bluetooth microphones and stereo headphones.

The Asus Eee PC just can not really very wrong turn. The important part is that there is no missing important functionality. The netbook of Samsung blue is less expensive than this computer $ 50, but has less battery, this weight to what is most important to you.
