The market for the quarter increased by 13% and is now estimated at 74.6 million users of "smart" phones. And all the other mobile operating systems have shown reductions in market share. The greatest losses have BlackBerry OS - -4,7%, operating system from Microsoft lost 1.3% and webOS - 0,6%. The share of these operating systems accounted for 25,7%, 6,7% and 2,6%.

Android and iOS grow in the U.S. due to the share of BlackBerry
The research company comScore released results of a survey of mobile phone users conducted by the U.S. market in April 2011. The survey was conducted for three months and it took 30,000 subscribers of mobile telephony. As a result, it was found that the greatest market share, Samsung is still accounting for 24,5%. Followed by LG (20,9%), Motorola (15,6%), Apple (8,3%) and RIM (8,2%). In this case, only Apple has shown significant growth in market share - 1.3% and surpassed on this indicator RIM, which now closes the top five. Least successful quarter has developed for Motorola, which lost 0.9% market share, but unlike RIM has maintained the third position. A slight increase in the proportion observed in LG (0,1%), while Samsung and RIM lost by 0,4%.
