Android 2.3 still appears on HTC Desire

HTC has refined his message that the smartphone HTC Desire does not receive operating system updates to version Android 2.3. Now it should be understood as what the company did release an update, but in truncated form. This unit has some problems with memory, which limits the ability to install this version. In order to circumvent this problem, HTC refuses to use a number of applications, although not specified on which ones. Probably the system will be out of the least significant applications outside the interface HTC Sense.

Initially it was suggested that this unit will never upgrade to Android 2.3, as was pointed out that the smartphone will not be able to provide simultaneous stable and faster operation of the interface and operating system. The company is also assumed in such a way to separate the model and newer vehicles. However, the negative public reaction forced the company to revise its plans and in the end to provide updates to the Android 2.3 and apparatus for HTC Desire.
