Back in April, we told you that the HTC Thunderbolt 4G would get Android 2.3 Gingerbread before the end of June, and it looks like this is indeed going to happen. According to Android and Me and a Verizon insider, there's a software update scheduled for June 30, which will bring not only Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, but also Sense UI 2.1, Skype and gTalk video functionality, pre-installed Amazon Appstore, enhanced aGPS functionality, and enhanced Microsoft Exchange extensions.
