The New HTC In collaboration with Sprint "Evo view 4G"

Sprint has just announced the HTC EVO View 4G, a 7-inch Android tablet based on the HTC Flyer that we saw at MWC this year. The screen is 1024x600 pixel resolution and it is powered by a 1.5GHz processor. It has 32GB of storage on board and support for another 32GB via microSD card. It also has a healthy 1GB of RAM.
The View 4G, like the Flyer, does not have Android 3.0 Honeycomb, rather it runs 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC's Sense UI on top of it. This version of Sense is specifically designed for tablets. HTC says that the View 4G will receive Android 3.0 Honeycomb "when it is ready." It also has HTC Scribe with optional pen support, a 5 megapixel rear camera with a 1.3 megapixel front camera, and 4000mAh battery. Mobile Hotspot capability is present, with support for up to 8 devices connected via Wi-Fi.
The View is equipped with DLNA and HDMI out for streaming video to HDTVs. For connectivity, the View 4G has a WiMAX radio and a CDMA 3G radio in addition to its Wi-Fi capabilities. It also benefits from integrated GPS capabilities and stereo Bluetooth 3.0.
The stylus that allows for pen-input on the capacitive will be a separate accessory available for purchase. This is different from the HTC Flyer which included the stylus. Pricing has yet to be announced for the it.
The EVO View 4G is expected this summer with a price yet to be announced.
