Tech News: No iPhone 5, At Least Not Yet

Rumors have been going around about the iPhone 5 not being released in the summer as previously reported. Now, this speculation has a little amount of confirmation.

An unnamed AT&T customer service representative has told MacRumors that Apple will not bring out the next-gen iPhone by June or July. The source cannot say when the iPhone 5 will be released, as Apple has not informed them about it.

But credibility-wise, a customer agent is too low in the corporate ladder so he or she does not have an idea about what really goes on about upcoming releases, especially from Apple.

However, it has been confirmed that Apple would not unveil the new iPhone during this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference, which has become its standard launch pad for the latest iPhones.

The iPhone 5 is said to feature an upgraded 8-megapixel camera, a dual-mode chip that supports both CDMA and GSM connectivity, and a speed-boosted A5 processor.
