Samsung N130-13B 10.1 inch slate blue Netbook review

The Samsung is an exceptionally solid netbook with good performance and is like a cheap kids toy. I've seen a few positive comments on this model, and it offers a good mix of style and performance. As with all netbooks it blows away other computers, but the price is right and the specifications balance sufficient to give a good experience.

Here are some of the key features:

2.8lbs10.1 po screen1024 x 600 memory160GB hard driveFast EthernetWireless 802 resolution1GB

The size of the screen is sufficient for a web browser, although it will be cramping of certain Web sites and they could be zoomed for optimal viewing.

The Intel Atom processor is the specification stock for netbooks from the day where it was introduced there are no surprises and no difference in real performance between it and other netbooks.

The keyboard, often a point difficult for those with large hands, is about 90% of the size of a standard keyboard and is large enough to use comfortably, although not to full weeks at computer work.

Outside of the netbook is sturdy and against scratches and abrasions.

1 GB of memory will handle most web navigation needs. This will allow two or three programs to be open at the same time. Firefox with tabs in 15-20, Tweetdeck and an instant messaging client will handle very well. Performs a both give much better results.

I am pleased that 802. .11n-ready wireless networking is included. Since netbooks are meant to be connected to the Internet primarily and almost everything online, a decent network connection is large enough. Accelerate the local connection, i.e. the connection, the computer to the Internet router wireless makes the experience much more homogeneous.

Other extras include audio input, output audio, integrated speakers, integrated webcam, built-in microphone, VGA port, and three USB ports.

I am not drooling over netbooks as I was once, but I think that it would be very high on my list if I counted on getting one. He hits well where it should and looks good at startup. The price of $300 is quite difficult to beat.
