HTC Merge Android Phone

US Cellular plan to release the CDMA version of the HTC Desire Z, called HTC Merge. HTC Merge Android smartphone support for a wide range of services from the Internet and will be available on May 31. The Merge CDMA smartphone will cost $249.99 before a $100 mail-in rebate with a two-year contract, which means the device will only cost you $149.99 if you do take advantage of the rebate.

HTC Merge Specifications

HTC Merge is powered by a 800 Mhz Processor, a 3.8-inch capacitive touchscreen display with support pinch-to-zoom capability, 2 GB eMMC, 512 MB RAM, 8 GB microSD memory card with supports up to 32 GB, a 5 megapixel color camera with auto focus, flash and 720p HD video recording, a slide-out keyboard, Internal GPS antenna and a battery provide up to 499 minutes for talk time or up to 6.9 hours for standby time. Dimensions of the Merge 3.8 inch Android Smartphone are 120.65 mm x 61.9 mm x 13.8 mm with weight 198 grams with battery.

For connectivity, the US Cellular HTC Merge offer Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and A2DP for wireless stereo headsets, 3G, Wi-Fi and works on Dual-band CDMA2000 xRTT/1xEVDO rev. A and IS-95A 800/1900 MHz. HTC Merge also pre loaded with a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to eight other Wi-Fi-enabled devices, support Adobe Flash Player 10.1, Friend Stream apps and Android 2.2 Froyo for operating system. The US Cellular Merge smartphone also support Google Mobile service, like Maps, Mail, YouTube and access to download more than 150.000 apps via Android Market.
