AT&T has been officially announced their new Samsung smartphone that was unveiled earlier this year at CES 2011, called Samsung Infuse 4G. Measuring 8.9 mm to 9.24mm and 131 grams at its thinnest point, the AT&T Infuse 4G is the thinnest 4G smartphone in AT&T’s lineup. AT&T Samsung Infuse 4G will be available on May 15th with starting price at $199.99 with a new two-year contract.

Samsung AT&T Infuse 4G offer a 4.5-inch larger screen with Super AMOLED Plus technology and 800 x 480 pixels features 50% more sub-pixels for better contrast and improves the outdoor viewing quality. Powered by a 1.2GHz Hummingbird processor and support to work in UMTS 850/1900/2100, GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and support HSDPA CAT 14  and HSUPA CAT 6, the Infuse 4G is the fastest smartphone Samsung has ever created with AT&T Wireless.

Samsung Infuse 4G smartphone also packs with a 16GB of internal storage, expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD card, Virtual QWERTY keyboard, dual cameras with 1.3-megapixel front facing camera for video calls or self portraits and 8-megapixel auto-focus camera with LED flash and support HD 720p video camera and HDMI playback. The device will be runs on Android 2.2 Froyo for operating system plus TouchWIZ UI.

For entertainment features, AT&T Samsung Infuse 4G smartphone also pre loaded with accelerometer, digital compass, GPS, Text/Picture and Video Messaging support, a special edition version of Angry Birds with unlock a special “Golden Egg” level of the game and JustUs apps that combines both social media and text activity from five favorite contacts into an animated wallpaper.

You can also watch hit movies and TV shows from preloaded apps like Samsung Media Hub, U-verse Live TV, U-verse Mobile, Adobe Flash Player and access to thousands of apps in the Android Market. For connectivity and data, the Samsung Infuse 4G Android smartphone will be boast 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, 3.5mm jack and a MicroUSB port. AT&T also announced if the first 500,000 Infuse 4G smartphone units sold will include a $25 voucher for consumers to get started on downloading content from Media Hub.
