Tablets and slate PCs now have to endure tough competition since more and more manufacturers have come up with a variety of models to catch the consumer’s fancy. The ASUS Eee Slate EP121 is a new Windows tablet that gears to tough it out with other tablet and slate PC’s in the market. One of the features that it has going for it is that it comes with an Intel Core i5 processor. It also comes with a 12.1 inch high resolution touch screen display with multi-input features. Aside from one’s fingers, an ASUS digital pen can be used or even a bundled lightweight wireless keyboard for typing convenience.

The ASUS Eee Slate EP121 also comes with WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0 support. A high resolution camera HDMI and expandable memory slots make it quite a versatile tablet device. The ASUS Eee Slate EP121 comes with a Windows 7 Home Edition OS that makes it an even interesting tablet device to use. The ASUS Eee Slate EP121 is now available at Amazon for US$1,600.
