HP reorganizes, Livermore to resign and join the Council

HP Monday made some organizational changes that the company tries to find his foot under its new CEO.

Ann Livermore he elected to its Board of Directors, and she will be resigning from his position at the head of HP company. Livermore was supposed to be a candidate for the top position at HP, who went to former boss SAP Leo Apotheker in September last year.

Livermore is 29 years at HP and will remain on the lead of the activity of the company until a new Chief, said HP, was appointed.

In an effort to give more visibility and support for software, storage, networks and Enterprise servers, frameworks departments responsible for these products running now directly reporting Apotheker. Dave Donatelli, who is Executive Vice President of technology services and servers for enterprise, storage, networks, and Bill Veghte, Executive Vice President of software, now the report to the Director General.

In addition, Jan Zadak, Executive Vice President of global sales, will also be Apotheker.

HP has also said it has eliminated the role of the Chief Administrator and Pete Bocian, who held this position, left the company immediately. HP absorb some of the functions of his group in others.

Randy Mott, Chief Information Officer for HP, is also leaving the company immediately. A replacement has not yet been appointed.

HP also said that it has implemented plans to offer solutions specific to China and the India market, which are critical markets for the company. Todd Bradley, who leads the personal systems group, will now also initiatives to develop lead company HP in China. Vyomesh Joshi, Executive Vice President of the Group of printing, imaging and will be in India.

HP stock has been reported since Apotheker took over the company last year. It recently announced an aggressive strategy to offer cloud services and the company will soon begin selling a tablet computer. Two efforts seem to make the HP more competitive with other large equipment manufacturers.
