Apple may move production to factories Intel processors

Litigation between Samsung and Apple may have far-reaching consequences. It is not excluded that in the future, Apple will give up production of processors for smart phones and tablets at the company Samsung, preferring to have his or her partner Intel. Currently, Intel announced the ability to produce processors and chipsets developed by other companies, including models of ARM-architecture. This allows Apple to abandon the monopoly of production processor family A4 and A5, a provider which serves only to Samsung.

Moreover, Intel's showing interest in expanding partnerships with companies who order processors for mobile devices. It is assumed that the delivery of already developed chipsets is only a basic level, which in the long term can be extended to the level of development platforms themselves. At present, such collaboration with Apple is not possible, because Intel's simply no proposals with the appropriate parameters, which could be suitable for the iPhone and iPad. But the situation could change significantly by 2013. That Intel will be the first company to be able to switch to the production of processors for 22-nm process, which will both increase productivity and reduce energy consumption.
