Apple made ​​a Bluetooth SIG board of directors

Organization of Bluetooth SIG, dealing with issues of standardization and certification of Bluetooth devices, announced the completion of its board of directors has representatives of two companies - Apple and Nordic Semiconductor. They will join such well-known companies such as Intel, Motorola, Lenovo, Nokia, Microsoft, Ericsson AB and Toshiba.

The main objective of these companies, and even more than 14.5 thousand member companies Bluetooth SIG, will be to promote and encourage the new platform (Bluetooth v4.0), and various sensors, which it will use.

Official membership of Apple and Nordic Semiconductor's board of directors in Bluetooth SIG will begin July 1 and will last at least two years.
