Sony Erisson’s newest Android phone is Live with Walkman

Sony Ericsson Live with WalkmanSony Ericsson has announce it’s latest Android smartphone, this time with an emphasis on music. The new phone is called the Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman, evoking the classic Sony music player ro differentiate a mid-range Android smartphone.
The big hook with the Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman is the dedicated Walkman button with will bring your straight to the Walkman-branded music player. You can then use the phone’s Facebook integration to share the music you’re playing. The Facebook integration will also be in the photo gallery, phonebook, and calendar. The music payer also offers a “Infinite button” which will give you more content from the band your listening to including music videos and lyrics. If you get tired of your music, you can always get more from the built-in Qriosity, assuming you pay for it. The service will also provide movies for your phone. If you’re playing music through the speakers you might be pleasantly surprised as Sony has included “xLoud technology” which is supposed to make music played through the speakers better when played at high volumes. I guess that means it’ll actually be barely listenable instead of completely unlistenable.
The rest of the phone is just your average mid-range Android device. You have a 3.2-inch touchscreen running Gingerbread, with a 1GHz CPU. You’ll also get a rear-facing 5MP camera capable of HD video and face detection. You also get the Timescape integration from previous Sony Ericsson phones, should you want them enough. Not sure if or when we’ll see this phone in the US, or what carrier it’d be on if it does.
