Panasonic 3D camera lens developed

Panasonic has taken the path to roll out a two lens compact digital camera some time later this winter, where it is capable of shooting HD video as well as stereoscopic 3D photos on a single device. Granted, this is far from being the first camera that accomplishes such a thing, but at least a prototype of it is already available, where it was recently paraded over at IFA 2011 in Berlin. Word has it that this new camera lens will roll out later this winter, although we aren’t too sure under what moniker or price point in will come in.
Boasting a 4x zoom lens that will incorporate a couple of newly developed “thin bending formula” (don’t blame me, that’s what I got from Google Translate). There will also be an optical image stabilizer function so that even with a pair of shaky hands, you will still be able to capture reasonably good looking photos.
To sweeten the deal, one of the lens can be used to shoot video while the other continues to capture stills simultaneously – which means you need not capture a screenshot of a video in the future. Neat, no?
