Twitter to release own photo sharing service

Twitter to release own photo sharing service

Twitter is looking to release their very own photo-sharing service in order to compete with existing services including Twitpic, Yfrog, Instagram and Flickr – that is what whispers on the street are all abuzz with. Nothing is official just yet, but we suspect that there could be an announcement coming up at the D9 conference in California later this week, where Twitter's chief executive Dick Costolo will be stepping to the podium to speak. Some have speculated that said service might just come in the form of website twimg.com, where Twitter purchased it since July 2010.
