Washburn's all new acoustic guitar line-up has begun shipping in the UK. Each of the new 10, 20, 30, and 40 acoustic series features different tonewoods, with models available in dreadnought, "Grand Auditorium" or mini jumbo body styles, and in Standard or Deluxe versions.
The 10 Series features Solid Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides.
The 20 Series features Solid Spruce top and Rosewood back and sides.
The 30 Series features Solid Spruce top and Ash back and sides.
The 40 Series features Solid Spruce top and Maple back and sides.
The 50 Series features Solid Spruce top and Koa back and sides.
In terms of body styles, a prefix of WD is a Dreadnought, WG is a "Grand Auditorium" and WMJ is a Mini-Jumbo.
Finally a "5" in the model number - such as a WD15S - represents a Deluxe model with upgraded binding.
