LaCie XtremKey Raises the Bar on Indestructible Jump Drives

I've been a fan of LaCie products for several years now, and they just keep getting better.  In health care, we're always looking (at least I am) for the next greatest backup device.  I've found the one for the office, my current favorite hard drive, the ioSafe.  But you also need a reliable offsite backup that you can take with you.  Enter the LaCie XtremKey drive.
These handy little USB drives are darn near indestructible.  The drive itself is encased in a 2mm metla pipe casing that is sealed with wear -resistant screw threads & a rubber O-ring.  The drive is watertight to 100 meters and is resistant to 5 meter drops.  It is also impervious to the elements holding up at +200C and -50C.
If that isn't enough for you, it can also be run over by a 10-ton truck!
That's enough damage resistance for me!
It comes in capacitites from 8GB to 64GB and will be available in August through the LaCie Online Store, LaCie Corner, and LaCie Resellers starting at $49.99
