As you know, just a few days ago the U.S. launched a broad sell tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with Wi-Fi. And now he's got a chance to connect to wireless networks and WiMAX operator of Sprint. American operator Sprint has promised to begin selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with Wi-Fi on June 24 (some channels), and the massive sales in its retail stores - from 24 July. The model, which will be available at Sprint, is no different from the original. Only it is a modification with 16 GB of internal memory and without the support of 3G, and the rest - it's the same 10.1-inch tablet with an NVIDIA Tegra 2, operating system, Android 3.1 Honeycomb, 2 - and 3-megapixel camera, Wi- Fi, Bluetooth and a thickness of 8.6 mm. The cost of the tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Sprint's is $ 499.99.

Applications Sprint ID declassified new models
Cameraman released application Sprint ID found containing devices roadmap of the company. Advanced users familiar with the Android OS could detect in this application menu that allows you to download Sprint Employee Pack. Before starting the actual application download, the user is asked to indicate what the actual phone he has. In this case the choice offered, and the model, whose announcement had not yet taken place. This includes devices were found: LG Optimus B, LG Q, Samsung Chief and Motorola Sunshine.
No details on what kind of model, of course not. We can assume that LG Optimus B - this LG Optimus Black, but that's about what that may mean there is not even LG Q assumptions. It is also likely that Samsung Chief - a Samsung D600, and Motorola Sunshine - version Motorola Photon 4G operator Sprint.

HTC EVO 3D and EVO View 4G: start of sales on June 24

Sprint & T-Mobile iPhones on the Horizon?
If you're a Sprint or T-Mobile customer, the recent announcement of the iPhone on Verizon could be good news for you.
It seems that Apple has shown that (in Europe, anyway) once their exclusive agreement expires with a carrier, they are quick to make the iPhone available on other networks. So, since the exclusive agreement with AT&T has expired and Verizon is getting the iPhone, it follows that other US carriers may soon be part of the iPhone family.
Add to that the fact that Verizon and Sprint both use CDMA technology as their wireless standard and it becomes a fairly easy thing to switch networks.
Sprint actually has an announcement planned for February 7th, so that may well be what it is about... but that is speculation at this time.

I'm a Kansas City boy and as such am a big fan of Sprint. Today's post is about the local wireless provider going international. Here are all the details:

4G Customers Traveling Abroad Will Soon be Able to Roam on 4G Networks in Jamaica and Taiwan

(BUSINESS WIRE), December 08, 2010 – Sprint (NYSE:S) today announced that it has signed international 4G roaming agreements with Digicel in Jamaica and Global Mobile in Taiwan, leveraging the global ecosystem for 4G services to enable travelers on the go. Select Sprint devices that operate with the Sprint SmartViewSM Connection Manager will automatically detect the Digicel and Global Mobile networks, giving customers the option to connect and roam with an unlimited 24 hour Daypass. Pricing and launch details of the agreements are still to be determined.

More Sprint WiMax Cities are on the Horizon
The CTIA wireless trade show is currently in progress and that means there will be plenty of announcements from wireless carriers and phone manufacturers.
One of the big announcements today was from my hometown company, Sprint. They've been rolling out WiMax to limited markets, but today announced that the service will be coming to other cities soon. The WiMax service is currently available in 27 cities, including Baltimore, Seattle, Las Vegas and Philadelphia. In the not too distant future it will be available in Boston, Denver, Kansas City, Houston, Minneapolis, New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C
Needless to say the Kansas City rollout is high on my list of geek projects for the year. Why am I excited about WiMax? It's the up-to-12 megabit/second download speeds and the fact that Sprint has stated the plans will have unlimited data. That's paradise for someone like me!
