Both the Samsung Galaxy S 2 and the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc are super thin and have fantastic displays. The Arc happens to be about $150 cheaper than the Galaxy S 2, making it a greater value. Both of these devices are available unlocked with the proper bands to do AT&T.
In terms of specs, the Arc uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz CPU with 512MB of RAM. The screen is 4.2" and FWVGA 854x480 resolution. There is 1GB of storage onboard, plus you get microSD expansion. The camera on the rear takes 8MP photos and 720p video, plus there is an HDMI output.
The Galaxy S 2 has Samsung's 1.2GHz dual-core Exynos CPU with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of storage, and also has microSD expansion. The Super AMOLED Plus screen is 4.3" and WVGA resolution. The camera on the back is 8MP and can shoot video at 1080p, while the front-facing camera takes photos at 2.0MP.
