Lexicon wins two Sound On Sound awards for PCM96 hardware and PCM Native Reverb software

Lexicon announced that it has received two 2011 SOS awards from Sound On Sound, the internationally renowned music recording technology magazine. The Lexicon PCM96 Studio Standard Reverb/Effects Processor won the award for Best Effects and Processing Hardware, and the Lexicon PCM Native Reverb Plug-In Bundle won the Best Software Plug-In Processing award. Both awards were presented at the 2011 Winter NAMM Show.

The Lexicon PCM96 Studio Standard Reverb/Effects Processor delivers 28 industry-standard Lexicon reverbs, delays and modulation effects. It offers a host of stereo and mono room, hall, plate, chamber and other reverbs, and includes more than 1,200 factory presets. The PCM96 easily fits into studio, installed sound and live sound environments, and features a full complement of digital and analogue inputs and outputs, along with Ethernet and FireWire connectivity.


The Lexicon PCM Native Reverb Plug-In Bundle is designed to work with popular DAWs like Pro Tools® and Logic®, as well as with any other VST®, Audio Unit™ or RTAS®-compatible host. PC- and Macintosh®-compatible, it offers seven of Lexicon’s most renowned reverb algorithms plus over 900 finely crafted studio presets. Its user interface provides intuitive control with a graphical real-time full-colour display.
