Samsung Announces One Million Galaxy Tabs Sold

Samsung Galaxy.jpeg
OK, this isn't the all Samsung blog... I mean it, but I came across this story and thought it blog-worthy.  It seems that the Galaxy Tab is selling pretty well.  Better, in fact, than Samsung themselves expected.
As of last Friday, December 3rd, the company has stated they had sold 1 million units.  That's what they were expecting to sell in the entire year of  2010 and that leaves almost a month of Christmas shopping to up those numbers.  Because of that, they have now upgraded their forecast to 1.5 million units in 2010.
The device runs the Android operating system and has a great screen.  I recently took some time to play with one at a Sprint Store here in the area and I came away impressed.  It reminds me a lot of a larger version of my Epic 4G phone just like the iPad reminds many of a larger iPhone.  If you are in the market of a slate/tablet device and you don't want to give Steve Jobs your money, I think this device is a good option.  Oh, and it looks like 1 million other people think so too.
